"Ale in bottles?" He raised an eyebrow. That was a pretty neat way to use bottles. "Where I come from ale gets served in jars. It's unusual to store beverages in bottles. I guess for this kind of everyday use glass is too expensive" he explained.

"It's good that you know something that's played here. Makes me feel like an outsider. I guess that is why I am even more eager to see how these games get played. Well, I don't want to challenge my luck in one of these bets that take place here. Through I haven't heard what you can win. All I have heard is, that these are exclusive prices."

Tyrion had overheard a few conversations while he had strolled over the market a few days ago. He was pretty sure that no one had seen him, because who would look down in a crowed place like the market. He had hoped to find out what these 'exclusive prices' were but so far he didn't have any luck with it. To ask somebody was not an option, as curious as he was.

His imagination had given him possible prices such as high sums of money, jewelery, gems and the like, maybe even exotic spices and fabrics. Well, in general stuff you could turn into money.

"It has been a while since I had been somewhere, where a crowd of people had gathered to come together."
He took a sip from the glass, thoughtfully looking at it, while he was trying to find the right words to reply to Sam's last statement.

Carefully Tyrion began "We don't have something like that either but we have people who riot against their lords or even the king. But it is not involved in crimes like here ... I have been to a place with a similar situation ... sort of. I can understand the common folk but that doesn't mean that I condone their crimes."
