[ at the question, lance will shift a bit - he's been practicing, so even if he hasn't gotten to do anything cool with it he kind of knows how to make it work? so he'll shift, and set his feet, and then look around for a few moments before finding a small puddle off to their left and moving his hand in a fluid motion.

the muddy water rises and them moves over towards lance, collecting in a small, brown puddle above his hand. lance, despite how totally cool he was probably looking, breaks into a grin. it's sweet, okay? like. super sweet. ]

[ he flicks his hand around and the water makes a trip around the two of them before falling to the ground far enough away that it doesn't actually splash. ] Not sure why, but still cool.
