( he doesn't quite wrinkle his nose at the inefficiency of it all, but it's a close thing. it's not that he thinks that maes is wrong, or doing anything poorly, but. it just doesn't suit his style of functionality, and the idea of what maes is saying is almost personally offensive to his incredibly well-organized and structured sensibilities. )
