It does sting a little to hear about Korra losing her airbending, especially since being the Avatar is so important to her, but he's more than amazed by her willingness to keep toughing things out despite the loss. But that's Korra for you? No matter how difficult things get, and he's seen her go through so many things that would break a normal person, she picks herself up and keeps being the best Avatar she can be. It's actually a privilege to be in her inner circle, to get to see all the things that make her such a great Avatar, and she's just inspiring him everyday just by being herself. He knows Mako feels the same way. They all do. ]
