[she's done all she really can do, and as she brings her hands to rest on her knees, Allura leans forward a bit, angling her body still close to Mako and watching him rub his wrist, an expectant-yet-hopeful look in her eye. this is, admittedly, the first time she's ever tried to heal someone with her abilities awakened from her trip to Oriande. but...it isn't something she's going to admit out loud. and, besides, what's an arm to someone who brought a planet-sized animal back to life?

even still, she waits with baited breath, and while she may still not fully understand what bending is (Korra had explained it well enough, but it's another thing to witness it) as Mako conjures fire at the fingertips of his damaged hand Allura brings hers up to clasp them in front of her chest, visibly elated.

it also explains the energy she felt from him when her own reached inward. a warmth that, for some reason, reminded her opposite the cool wash of waves she felt whenever she connected with the Blue Lion. he said he's a firebender, and now she actually understands what that means.]
