[She's small for a jinba, but she's still nearly half a ton of solid muscle. The mention of protecting her makes her lips purse a moment, (had he already forgotten what she'd said at the lake?), but she doesn't say anything in favor of twisting slightly to begin washing a flank.]

I don't know if I'll ever get used to all the magic people throw around... weren't we not supposed to be able to use the magic from our own worlds before?
