Who: Akira and others!
Where: Around El Minha
When: A week or so after their arrival
Rating PG at worst???
What: Open post for further El Minha shenanigans
A. The Sparkling Sapphire
[it's nighttime now; the sun has already long since set over the bustling desert city known as El Minha. if you happen to be in your tavern room tonight, you may be getting a visitor]
[by which I mean, there's a thump right outside your tavern room door, before an unassuming teen suddenly falls right through said door as though he were a ghost phasing through a wall. he stumbles forward, arms windmilling at his sides, before he loses his balance completely and faceplants right onto the floor]
[ah]
[this was probably not done on purpose. anyway, help a poor guy out? or kick him out of your room, either/or!]
B. The Grand Market
[when he isn't accidentally falling through walls and doors and interrupting people before they fall asleep at night, Joker can be found in the Grand Market, perusing the booths with what seems like interest. that's normal enough, right?]
[what isn't normal is how he keeps picking up the wares for sale and looking underneath them, before placing them down again and moving onto the next one. it's almost like he's looking for something, and that something isn't a fancy fruit bowl with intricate carvings on the edges that's on sale for five coins]
[he lets out a huffed, frustrated noise, gaze sweeping the area. but when he happens to spot you, he lifts his head up with interest, and takes a step forward]
Have you seen a lizard around here? Very small, bright green scales, likes to nestle in people's hair?
[oh, so that's what he's looking for]

[BEFORE SHE DECIDES TO THROW THE VASE AT HIM, ANYWAY. he slips his hands into his pockets and takes a polite step back]
My foot got stuck in the floor while I was walking down the hall, and I tripped.
[new Astoria-given power problems. . .]

I... you're kind of surprisingly a disaster, Kurusu-kun.
no subject
[that's. not something to thank her for, but there's some wry humor in his words]
Or it could just be bad luck.
no subject
[ a shrug. ]
Luck's fickle.

[I MEAN. . . now that he's here, what is he. supposed to do. this is awkward?? hm]
no subject
[ he's allowed to run. She won't stop him. ]

"Leaving" was at the top of my list, admittedly. I actually haven't had dinner yet.
[is this going to be their shortest thread ever]

[ shooing motions, even. ]

[. . . only for his hand to immediately phase through said door and turn solid a few seconds later. thankfully, the way his powers work means that this isn't extremely painful!]
[unfortunately, this means his arm is now stuck in her door]

Your bad luck's kicking in, huh?

[COOLLY]
So, got any board games? That I can play with one hand?
[until his powers kick in again and he can free himself]
no subject
[ just as coolly. THIS... SHOULDN'T LAST LONG, RIGHT... ]
no subject
[YOU KNOW WHAT]
Let's do it.
[he extends his free hand, expression completely bland]
no subject
I'll warn you now, I'm pretty good.
[ she'll just clasp his hand and move her thumb into "start" position. ]
no subject
This'll be interesting, because I suck at thumb wars.
no subject
[ Because Rion's instantly going on the attack. ]
no subject
[anyway she can pin his thumb in like .5 seconds flat, because he didn't even try. lazy asshole]
no subject
[ Akira pls. ]
no subject
[he did!!
no subject
-- Actually, can you move yet?
[ that doesn't look comfortable. ]

[nnnno dice]
. . . I'm really sorry, Kugayama-san. . .
no subject
Why don't I at least grab you a plate of food? You said you were trying to get dinner, right?
no subject
Didn't you once say that if I ever got stuck in a door, you wouldn't bring me room service?
