Who: Lotor & Honerva.
Where: Lakeside, by Lake Dona.
When: After his conversation with Allura.
Rating PG-13, because likely talk of, you know, planet explosions and stuff.
What: Lotor has to come clean about some stuff, but how much is entirely up for debate.
[ the peacefulness of the lake is something lotor did not actually appreciate until he desperately needed it. it's calm, and quiet, and now that the rain has finally subsided, it seems to be a beautiful place to think. and also a good place to meet people, given it's location and beauty.
or, at least, that's what he told himself when he sent honerva a simple text message, asking her if she would come meet him to speak. he did not tell her about what, nor did he go into much further detail. he had shared nothing with her past his name when they had first interacted, and lotor had purposefully been vague. she knew he was galra, and she knew he knew about altea, but nothing past that. and lotor had kept it that way on purpose. because what is there to say?
and, honestly, he had been content to leave it that way. and if voltron were not here, lotor would have continued to keep it that way. but they are here, and they have every reason in the universe to ruin honerva's time here, and while lotor is almost certain they won't, he can't stomach the idea that they would be the ones to tell her when he should be the one to do it. it's really the matter of what he is going to tell her, that much lotor hasn't decided on.
that she has a son, most likely. that he is from a future time, probably. but that daibazaal is gone, and zarkon is dead, and that lotor killed him -- likely not. that honerva becomes a twisted monstrosity hellbent on murdering the universe, and -- if lotor were honest, also murder him? definitely not. better to tell her she was dead than the truth.
it had worked for lotor, all these years, in order to get through having to deal and interact with haggar every day. it would surely work for honerva, too.
still. it would depend. for now, a simple converation to gain her trust, and to get to know her as a person, would suffice. the truth would come out as needed. and so when honerva finds lotor, he is sitting on a larger rock, watching the water, seemingly lost in his own thoughts as she approaches. ]
