[Connor's pretty certain that blaring noise coming from the shell doesn't quite match up to the sound quality of what he had just been hearing from the band. It sounds more like a gurgling, clumsy noise, something that can't possibly hope to hold a melody. The android's never heard what an angry whale sounds like, but he'd draw a comparison between the two and confidently call himself correct in his assessment.
Of course, the other had said with such assuredness. Connor's NOT SO SURE OF THAT, but here they are-
If there's one thing that will always move him to action, it's expectation. Expectation to do well, expectation to perform up to snuff, even if that expectation is couched in the activity of playing some alien instrument that he can't quite logically figure out. But their newfound audience is looking at him, the band is looking at the both of them (mixed with amusement and so much regret) and Connor is the only one not playing.
So. Fine. After turning it around in his hands a few times, Connor finds what he can only assume is the mouthpiece, too, and brings it to his lips. Blows water through it, since air is a novelty in this place.
Out comes an awful sound, but it's an awful sound that matches Minato's. Are you going to find a rhythm to this nonsense, friend, because hooboy it needs it.]
