The very second Kainé spots Emil, he is wrapped up in her arms with the tightest hug in the world. Being all mushy feely isn't exactly Kainé, she hates it and much prefers to be swearing her head off and throwing punches whenever she can, but when she's been apart from the boy for this long, it really hits close to home how much it sucks to not be close to someone she loves. ]

You're okay, right? Not hurt? Fucking messages... didn't work half the time... [ That sure added to her stress. Nier could look after himself, she knows that, but Emil? He could, in some ways, but also not in others and if anything were to happen to him then she isn't sure what she would do. Rage. Kill people. Give up on life. ]

Don't leave my side again, okay?

[ If they're glued to each other then there is no way that they can be torn apart, right? Although, it would be impossible for them to stay together 24-7. That isn't a very fair life. Maybe luck will be on their side and this won't happen again. ]

_{[That, to Emil, is a certainty, as far as he's concerned. It didn't matter how many years would pass or how many miles, somehow they'd find their way back to one another.]}

[ Kaine presses her forehead against Emil's, sighing to herself. ]

Yeah. We'll always be fine.

[ Emil is like a younger brother to her, someone she loves and is willing to protect for as long as she can. As long as he is okay, she's content with living her life. ]

_{[The same goes for her as well, and the press of her forehead is warm against his. It's still quite awkward, to have to move and operate underwater, but they can make do. Kaine says they'll always be fine and he believes it. He has unwavering faith in her, after all.

It's moments like this he can't help but think of his older sister, doomed by adults that failed her...failed them both. What would she think of Kaine? Perhaps she'd be glad they'd found each other, that Kaine had taken the torch of her duty from her to carry on in her wake. After all Kaine was like a sister to him - found family if you will. Most of all though, she's Emil's best friend.]}

Mm, yep. We'll be fineeee. Especially if you say so!

... We should go somewhere else, grab something eat. I'm tired of seafood though.

[ Because that is all she has had to eat recently and honestly, Kainé's stomach is ready to try something else for a change. There's only so much she can handle foreign food before she gets sick of it. ]

I mean, that's a good idea Kaine but...what else is there other than seafood? We're underwater, after all.
