The ladder is a helpful landmark; she rushes toward it, focusing on being faster than everything going off around her. It's difficult - she's not used to dodging bullets, after all - but not impossible. Her cloak takes the brunt of the damage. She ends up ditching it halfway up the ladder, because it's clearly too enticing a target for all these bizarre, rapid projectiles.
Up on the roof, she looks for whoever had been talking to her over the watch. It's someone from the Temple, right? It has to be.
She also keeps her search silent, wordless. It won't help to make a scene and risk giving away her comrade's (?) position. Maybe she should look for the shot off arm and then follow the trail from there. ]
