[ there's a soft noise of agreement, more in comment to allura's second point than her first. lotor generally tries to avoid thinking about his childhood; why the rift would bring them here is a mystery to him.

still, lotor glances down the hallway, allowing his eyes to rove over the familiar hallways, mentally placing out where he would have been. ]

I was young, and I don't believe I began my combat training yet. [ that had been a very Definitive Moment in lotor's life, when he elected to pursue such things . . . perhaps that's why the rift took them here. he pushes that aside, though. ] I likely would have been with Dayak, who was tasked with ensuring I didn't run off or become corrupted by outside influences, or discover anything I wasn't supposed to learn.

[ he says it in a dry tone; clearly, that worked out extraordinarily well. ]

At any rate, the ship should be relatively safe, so long as we continue to remain unseen. There is little harm in exploring.

[ besides, lotor trusts allura not to use anything seen here against him. perhaps foolishly, but she already knows more than the majority of the universe. seeing him as a child will hardly make a difference, even if that is why they are here. ]
