it also doesn't help that lotor has no idea when this is. he can't remember when he figured out his mother was altean, or that he was only half-galran . . . which meant he could recognize allura's markings, if he were far enough in his research. he looked young, but not too young . . . certainly old enough to begin looking into his mother's lineage, but he certainly isn't capable of holding his own in a fight . . .
to make matters worse, zarkon is on board, which will quickly spiral out of control if he catches sight of allura, or an adult lotor, which he is about to hiss to her when the young prince speaks again: ]
