[Shiro glances about the hallway. He locks his metal jaws for a moment. Why isn't there any markings? Had they been removed? Or was this a case of something he'd never seen before? Differences in eyesight?]

There's a number of ways the information could be stored. Datapads. Paper records. Could be with small handheld devices smaller than a datapad. It could be built into their armor or gear. They might have com units like we have our watches.

With the power down it could be all but the basics are unavailable due to their in-ship network being down. Still...most ships have markings to indicate floors or at least directions. The Castle Ship I worked on had lights along the floors and walls.

There's also the question of how these people interacted with their ships. So far it looks fairly standard but...those capsules.


[He looks at Hughes and down at his paws.] I'd like to know more about them.
