[Ren is definitely the wrong person to be trying to send a shiver up the spine of, since he just looks more and more curious as the story goes on. The ending makes him pout a little, though, and he holds a hand up to his chin as if he's trying to be thoughtful about it even if he mostly just looks huffy.]

That's kind of an anticlimax...though it seems silly for the snakes to bite the person that was giving them a home. Maybe they should've done something like Medusa and just made themselves into her hair, right?

[Because that's definitely how that works. Obviously agreements can be made with your weird hair snakes and their living arrangements.]
