[ indeed, one foot after another. descending into the proverbial pit isn't necessarily terrifying to him, but lotor's mind is singularly focused on finding allura. he knows that other paladins ventured into this world, and other people he considers friendly-ish acquaintances, but he would be lying to himself (and, indeed, his team) if he said he cared about anything else more than finding her.

still, that's worrying. the changing of abilities. and when they reach the depths, before anyone can really say anything, lotor experimentally raises a hand . . . and a nearby empty canister raises a few inches off the ground, before lotor sets it back down with a relaxation of his mind. ]
