[Maes was obviously interested in exploring their new surroundings and get used to this new form. He was surprised at first how easy it was to adjust to being taller, leaner, and mostly walking on strangely shaped feet: not quite paw, but not really a human foot anymore either. Shoes were obviously out and yet the ground didn't hurt his bare feet thanks to the thicker padding.
He'd run into Keith on his way to the blacksmith and after the initial confusion of their new appearances, he'd decided to tag along to check out weapons. Maes wasn't sure how much he would need them since he had some pretty deadly looking claws and teeth, but he really wasn't sure how he felt about using them.
It shouldn't have surprised him that Keith walked out with a new sword to test for an upcoming tournament. Maes would have to raise more coin before he could afford the nicer daggers, but he wanted to help and for some reason he did have a set of longer daggers on his person when he'd woken up (definitely not the push daggers he typically used).]
I'm game.
[Normally he wouldn't be so eager, but he'd been feeling restless almost all day. Something to do with his Shifter nature?]
