Kurt's eyebrows draw together slightly at the intensity of the other man's stare. Though his featureless eyes narrow slightly, the only other visible reaction is a slight shift in his posture, easily explained as getting comfortable. It also makes him better balanced should he need to launch himself from his perch.

He spreads the fingers of one hand as though in a wave to demonstrate. A second later he pulls a face, nose wrinkling. "Hrm, that sounded much less self-pitying in my head."
