WORLD INFO:WHEN YOU WAKE UP | JOIKULL | NEW MAGIC | BEYOND THE WALLS | JUMP SUMMARY | MOD NOTE

You're lying in bed, when it happens. There's an odd pulling sensation in your stomach, and people who have been through this before know that the Jump is about to occur. You have time to grab what's closest to you, and that's about it, before you suddenly wake up in... a bed? But not your own.

The first thing you notice: the temperature.

You were comfortable when you fell asleep, but now it’s very, very cold. Even if you pull the blanket up over your head, the chill seems settled into your bones. How did it get this cold? You were sure the flurries at the Temple last week were not in your bedroom.

When you finally peek out to face the rest of the world, it will start to make sense. Your room appears to be made of ice now. You are, as far as you can tell, inside an igloo. Your blanketed bed is made of wood, but everything else inside is ice. The door. The desk. The floor. It’s all carved out of the stuff, to an expert degree, sure, but it’s still ice.

Just when you begin to wonder what in the hell is going on, there is a ping on your watch.

A NOTE FROM YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD WITCH.
"Hello, dear Traveler! It worked, it worked..."

Astoria's expression is cheerful and chipper, on the watch. Those who have done this for awhile know that Astoria typically reaches out before the Jump, but for the second time in a row, she seems to have managed to contact you afterward.

"You are now in Joikull! It appears to be a bit cold, so I sent you with some coats and things in your rooms! Make sure you wear them. ♥ I feel a darkness in that world that is hard to explain, a bit warm but -- "

Astoria's voice suddenly stops there, and her brow furrows slightly. The image wavers, ever so much, and Astoria's eyes suddenly shift off-screen, her mouth opened slightly, her brow furrowing in confusion. There is a sound of a voice offscreen, but it's a bit too muffled to make out. And then, Astoria says:

"How did you get here?"

But the image cuts, after that. You have little time to wonder what the hell that was on about, though: you're busy pulling on the fur-lined coat that Astoria has seemingly left you, and set off to explore . . . what had she said, again? Joikull?

WHEN YOU WAKE UP.
Welcome to Joikull!

➜ It hits you in waves — the icy cold, biting and relentless. Whether you’re accustomed or unaccustomed to the cold, the temperature is a drastic contrast to that of the Temple’s. The walls around you are a transient white, and it’s not long before you realize that they too are forged from ice. There are 2 other beds in your room, both of which are occupied, and the wood underneath you begins to creak.

Suddenly, an elderly woman enters the room, clanging a silvery white (is that more ice?) pot and pan. “Rise and shine, darlings!” she crows out before standing at the center of the room. “It’s time for breakfast! She beckons you to come downstairs, and should you follow her, you’ll be sure to discover that practically all of this newly discovered...inn? is also forged from ice.

➜ The dining room is grand — it’s fitted for a castle of sorts, but this appears to be the norm around here. The tables are overflowing with food, ranging from warm stews and breads to chilled meats and sweet, frozen delicacies. And when one plate runs out, Joikull’s civilians rush to simply fix another one out of thin air. And while there are plenty of other natives here, none of them seem to be eating. In fact, they seem to be looking excitedly at you to eat instead. You've got to be hungry, don't you?

➜ People are quick to make conversation with you, and if they notice that you’re cold, you may get wrapped into somebody’s embrace or asked if you need to huddle for warmth. Perhaps you’re better off asking one of your Circle members?

JOIKULL: MORE THAN JUST THE COLD
The city is built on the top of a mountain, with cliffsides surrounding each side. With the help of the stone and the ice, the city itself is grand in scale. Buildings and homes and places of business have all been expertly crafted and carved. Lives happen here, as they do in any city, and they all seem to surround themselves with ice, snow, or the continued existence of it. The magic is particularly curious, as it doesn't seem to match the rest of it, but there doesn't seem to be any clue as to why.

➜ Do you want to build a snowman? No, really - in one of the parks there seem to be a large group of natives (all swirling snow and ice and all) who are collecting snow into forms and figures. They'll ask for your help, if you're willing to grant it, and while putting together the snow and ice you'll find that you're able to create...a new person? Or at least a new native, with an energy, personality, and appearance all their own! They will also want to be your new best friend, so I hope you're...ready for someone to follow you around at least for a day or two. No worries if you've decided to do some crafting on your own, though. They definitely need the magic of the natives (and not the new, warm kind) to actually come alive. So if you want wanted to make something on your own, you're quite safe.

➜ The city seems to basically be made of ice. And by basically, we mean almost entirely. The use of wood and fire and food and really, anything that isn't ice and snow, is all vaguely new and foreign to the natives. You may be asked, even walking down the street, how to use a specific item or what to do with it. If asked, they got it through the magic, it looks quite fun! They just need....some help! Or it's possibly you can see a native using something in a very incorrect way. Will you step in?

➜ You're more than welcome to explore the city. The natives are all quite trusting and eager to welcome you into their lives! But something you may notice while you do so is the...well. Way that everything seems a bit off. It's subtle, so much that you might not even notice it, but the walls of this building definitely seem to be...melting. No, that can't be possible, can it? The natives will argue with you, say that everything is fine, but actually no - you're looking at it now - and it's definitely melting. Like. Very much so. But what can you do?

A CELEBRATION OF VISITORS

Joikull’s people are more than amiable enough — and they’re at their prime during their festivals. This celebration has been hosted with the intention of welcoming the Circle, and it certainly shows. They’ve up and concocted makeshift buildings to accommodate their festivities, and a circle of flora forged from ice surrounds the premises. There are stalls, games, and food for all, alongside people eager for your company.

➜ It's only natural that in a winter wonderland, you're expected to get creative with snow: well, it appears as though Joikull has taken a bit too far. There are games ranging from the average game of rope tow to full fledged snow wars. People have gathered into teams, and fortresses have been constructed from the ice — the objective of this game seems to be to destroy your enemy's defenses. With the power of magic, everyone has a bit of an advantage...and a disdvantage. Apparently, the winners will be receiving a day's worth of shopping fully on the house.

Or you could play rope tow. That's an option too.

➜ Food is integral to any festival. Today, plates of curry are offered from vendor to vendor — now, curry may seem a bit random, but this is the first time they've been able to make it due to the sudden surge of magic! Does it taste alright? Some plates are far spicier than they should be, but it's the thought that counts. Wash it down with pineapple upside down cake-on-a-stick, or a few gourmet popsicles (all of which which happen to be enchanted with a random side effect unbeknowest to you.)

➜ Keeping warm is likely on your mind right now. The vendors have rustic, sizable antiques to offer, varying from lanterns to wooden carvings to glass orbs, but they also have a collection of weavery to offer as well. Oversizes dresses and jackets seem to be in style right now — but there are ponchos and hats to suit your needs as well.

➜ Once the sun begins to set, Joikull’s citizens get into position, all circling the center of the festival grounds. Suddenly, they hook arms, joyfully dancing and shifting from person to person. It appears as though they’re square dancing — either find or a partner or get roped into a dance unwillingly! The goal is to dance until you’re the last pair left; the flashier you are (perhaps with the aid of magic), the more attention you’ll draw to yourselves.

BEYOND THE WALLS.
The decision to venture down under the fortress to get beyond the walls is one you will need to make on your own, as the natives are quite adamant about the fact there is nothing wrong and nothing to see out there. It will actually take you, and other Circle Members, to even find the door that will lead you out of the city - an old, dusty, boarded up doorway. Boarded up with wood, strangely enough.

Your decision to investigate is entirely up to you. If you signed up here, it will be your or your team’s decision on when, and for how long.

The natives weren’t wrong - the trip will be dangerous, but there are enough supplies for you to bring with you to survive, as long as something else doesn’t get in the way.

For those who have decided to go off into this journey, direct your attention to The Beyond The Walls Log!

TEAMS/GROUPS/ADVENTURERS
Zari, Wanda, Steve, Bucky, and Nate.

Hisoka

Pigdge, Shiro, Firo, and North.

Roy, Riza, Maes, Molly, and Konoha.

Vex, Vax, and Percy.

Ruby, Ren, and Carmen.

HELP NEEDED:
➜ Calling all able-and-solid-bodied workers! The festival is in need of some hard working hands to help, you guessed it - CARVE SOME ICE. There are new structures in need and new buildings that need help and they need as many hands as possible to carve into these huge blocks. Their new magic just isn’t working fast enough!

➜ Are you interested in food? Cooking? What about trying to teach the natives about said food and cooking? Because somehow, this magic has created a way for them to find food - mostly veggies and salted meats - but they’ve never eaten before! And this looks fun! Share some of that knowledge and experience, yeah?

➜ There are booths set up all along the main street of Joikull sporting a variety of games, crafts, fortune tellers, drinks and food, and everything else in between. And boy- do they need help managing! Ever wanted to work in the service industry? For an entire population of ice people? Now’s your chance.

➜ Clean up! Each day, as the sun begins to set, it will be time to clean everything up and put it away. Even with the new and fun lights everywhere around, making the job much easier than it would have been previous, it’s still a bit more…..difficult. Can you tell a small ice statue from the next? How about sweeping up snow off of…snow? Have fun! Because the natives are leaving you pretty much on your own.

➜ One of the larger establishments (Marietta’s Mansion is the name carved above the front door) is a working and busy tavern of sorts. Natives move in and out of the large open space chattering loudly an excitedly about all of the newest and brightest things they’ve seen. But what Marietta, yes the owner, can’t seem to keep any of her native workers on task. Spend too much time in here and she will put you to work - carving new seats out of the walls, cleaning the tables, figuring out some way to keep everything from wearing down and melting…it never used to be this difficult for her before!

01. Running Hot

[Cold isn't really a problem for jinba. With a nice tough hide, thick natural coat, and body temperature that ran more equine than human, Konoha isn't bothered by Joikull so much. She's wearing her gifted coat just to be sensible, but the sleeves are rolled up and it's not fastened as she prances through the new city, looking about wide-eyed... Or, she would be wide-eyed if she wasn't squinting for the all the light reflecting off the ice.

But she's not squinting so much that she can't notice that other people are shivering. On her journey if she spots someone who is looking particularly miserable... she starts shrugging out of her coat, smiling helpfully.]

Here... You look like you need it.

02. Fancy Prance

[If you ever wondered whether centaurs can dance... They can! Well, it's mostly just fancy prance hoof work, some skipping, and occassional little hops and half-kicks and rears that send little spits of snow whirling about, but combined with her arms waving here and there in time, it's surely dancing.

And she's smiling, laughing a little at herself as she tries to copy the more snow flurry-like way the natives can dance... Until she almost accidentally bumps into someone else, (or maybe does, just a little, she's got a big butt), hopping about with a gasp.]

Oh, sorry- ! Sorry, are you okay?

03. This Curry Needs More Salt

[Curry isn't something that Konoha had ever eaten in her own world. But she'd learned how delicious it was, and how to make it, thanks to one of the people she'd met here with the Circle. One of the people that wasn't with them anymore, back in their own world, which was great, but it meant she'd never see them again-

And it wasn't exactly in her plans, you know, to dwell on those memories too much, but.

Here's Konoha, sniffing in a failed effort to stop warm, plump tears from rolling down her cheeks and plopping into her curry.]

04. Snow Shoe Blues

Jeez-

[One of the benefits of being able to summon food was that sometimes you could summon multi-purpose items. Like straw, which you can weave into hoof-shaped makeshift snow shoes if you know what you're doing. Which Konoha mostly did, but.

The strap on the rear right hoof has come undone, so she stops to fix it, but there's not anything to really hold onto nearby and being able to reach her own back hoof requires a lot of stretching on her part, which leaves her wobbling a bit as she tries to strain her back leg more forward into easier reach of her fingers. Maybe help a girl out?]

Sheryl Nome | OTA

[A: When You Wake Up]

[Sheryl's seen snow before. She's seen fake snow on the Macross Galaxy, and she's seen the aftermath of snow in the Circle, or those little flurries more recently. But they were in Akvos through much of winter, and so she's never seen so much natural snow-- and ice-- before.

And while it's beautiful and pure and makes her want to write lyrics, there's another part that she's not dealing well with: It's freezing. It's way too cold. How do people live like this?

Thankfully, her power to change clothing into something else means that with a quick song, she's able to change into something warm.

On the other hand, despite being covered in furs from head to toe, it's still way too cold. So you'll come across Sheryl sitting at the banquet table, huddled into herself and shivering.]
Why are the chairs made of ice?!

[B: More than Just the Cold]

[Okay. So, it's beautiful and even if it's cold, you can do some fun things in the snow. And Sheryl's always heard of snowball fights growing up, she's just never had the opportunity. Which is why she's gleefully making snowballs-- if a little poorly-- and hurling them at anyone who catches her eye.

This will in no way come back to bite her.]

[C: A Celebration of Visitors]

[You know what Sheryl is good at? Dancing. And she's got the impressive stamina for it, thanks to her stage shows and the exercise she does, even if she's a little out of practice, not having done it for a while.

But she's always been very good at drawing attention to herself. And with a little soft singing to herself, as she spins from partner to partner, her clothes change from furs to long, beautiful Elsa-style gowns. Perhaps she'll get cold again later, but now all the activity is keeping her very warm.

And she is determined to win. So if you're her next partner, you better have the stamina to keep up.]

[D: Wildcard]

[Hit me up here! Open for anything, like helping out.]

[a: free hugs warmth]

[While this new world is pretty and interesting, Ren is undoubtedly not built to weather this kind of cold. While he is wearing a coat that got sent along with him - a rather dramatic and wide-sleeved thing he got made in Faerun - he's still hugging his elbows a bit while they're in the inn area.

Thankfully(?) he's shameless enough to jump at the opportunity to approach others for help with this, and as soon as he sees anyone else looking remotely uncomfortable with the cold, he pounces. Or at least pops up in front of them with a bright smile.]

Are you cold? Do you need some help? [He offers his arms out in...yeah, that's a hug, but hey, sharing body warmth is a wonderful thing.]

--

[b: do you want to build a...society]

[Ren has noticed the whole "locals building a snowman makes it into a person" thing, so while he definitely wants to get in on this fun time, he'll somewhat conspiratorially approach anyone else in the area. The stage whisper he gives them with a hand to one side of his mouth kind of ruins any impression he's trying to actually keep a low profile, though.]

Hey, do you want to make the coolest snowman here and then have one of the locals finish it for us...? [PRIORITIES.]

--

[c: masterchef joikull]

[As it happens, though it hasn't really been relevant prior to now, Ren is actually an extremely good cook. So when he sees some of the locals looking a bit lost about how to cook with these new things they've managed to find, he's more than ready to help out.

Except...that's a pretty big group he's run into who are looking for help. While he's definitely not inexperienced with herding large numbers of people, it's not very fun, so he leans over to any other Circle members who happen to be passing by.]

How are your cooking skills...? Or your crowd control skills, I guess...

--

[d: fun and games]

[In terms of the festival, Ren is also more than happy to help run one of the booths, which is essentially a fancy version of a darts game. Five targets, and three to five shots depending on how much you pay, with a selection of three types of ammo - traditional darts, something similar to a safe(r) version of a throwing knife, and something that looks weirdly like the shape of a playing card, just made of something a bit sturdier than paper. The prizes work on a points system, so one bullseye can get you a good prize, but the more you get, the better the prize will be. Just so it's slightly less of a walk in the park for experienced players.

Ren's wandering around outside the stall for the most part, drifting to the side of any passing Circle member like he's been drawn there magnetically.]

Want to come try out our game...? It's really fun, I promise~ [And not rigged, which is always a bonus for carnival games.]

[e: wildcard]

[[Ren's probably going to be doing plenty of exploring and meeting the people, so feel free to run into him doing other stuff, or hit me up at [plurk.com profile] reviseleviathan if you want to do anything more specific!]]

Klan Klang | Macross Frontier | OTA

[personal profile] traumaplate 2019-06-17 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
[a: melty builds]

[Klan isn't doing too badly for herself in the cold (though she is wearing a very big jacket to cover her very big ten foot tall self). However, she doesn't want to waste any time figuring out what the problem they need to be dealing with is for this world.

It doesn't take her long to pick up on the...glistening about some of the buildings here, and before too long, she's stopped next to a rather melty wall that visibly has a little bit of water running down it.]

...Is it just me, or is this thing melting? Shouldn't they be fixing something like this?

--

[b: snow wars]

[Klan might have a bit of a soft spot for overdone war games, judging by the fact that she seems to have kind of taken command of the side of the forts she's on. Or that might just be because the snow people are apparently inclined to look up to the very definitely tallest person in the area right now.

At least her tactics are good, because the other fort seems to be getting rumbled a bit by this point, its defenses being methodically weakened by focusing on areas that are easier to break through. Klan looks like she's considering something, though, and after tossing another handful of snowballs over (which is a lot for someone her size), she crouches down to talk to the person next to her.]

If they're using magic, do you think the powers the witch gave us are supposed to be fair game?

--

[c: ye olde pickaxe method]

[When it comes to helping out, Klan takes the obvious route of offering her strength, which means she starts out over in the ice carving area. Though she's never used a pickaxe before, Faerun gave her some experience with swinging around human weapons like that, and it's not like the weight is any bearing on someone like her...which is why she seems to be wielding one pickaxe per hand instead of doing it the traditional way. When you're her size, using two hands on a weapon is basically just shorting yourself a hand you could be doing something else with.

The effect is that she looks like some kind of engine of destruction over here, plowing through the wall of ice with worrying efficiency. If anyone else tries to approach her section, she glances over and spreads her pickaxe-filled hands by way of explanation.]

I think you might be safer taking up somewhere a bit down the wall, I don't want to hit anyone by mistake.

--

[d: marietta's]

[Unsurprisingly, Klan finds her way to the tavern before too long, though she doesn't do a lot of drinking so much as just listening in on what people have to say. She's curious about how aware the locals are of the melting situation, though it doesn't sound like much is going on.

The establishment itself seems to be melting, though, which Klan observes in particular when the tavern owner requests her strength for carving some more furniture out of the walls. It's hard not to notice when her tools bring a small running of water wherever they cut through, and she frowns a little at it.]

Do you think they have anything to cool down their interiors here? Not like you'd need it in a place like this most of the time, but the people are gonna start melting at this rate.

--

[e: wildcard]

[[Klan is probably going to be looking into the melting problem on the city end of things, so feel free to jump in with anything about that, or hit me up at [plurk.com profile] reviseleviathan for anything more specific!]]

I. A Jaunt through Joikull
Much like her arrival at the Temple and then Faerun, Carmen spends the first day or so wandering the city and trying to get a ‘feel’ for this place. In another life this would have been considered part of casing a place before the actual job, but even though she doesn’t plan on stealing anything it’s helpful to get a sense of the city, the people, and their culture. This is especially true when one is still missing their usual tech guru feeding them GPS and internet research answers about the locals she is now visiting. It’s back to basics with on the ground surveillance and just generally paying attention. And honestly? Carmen doesn’t seem to mind it at all.

It’s easy to spot the shock of red amidst all the white, silver, and blue of ice and snow. Most of the locals take a liking to her red coat and hat pretty quickly and she finds herself often sharing about it while also discussing with them the ways of life here. It’s through these conversations that Carmen starts to piece together what is ‘native’ and what is new.

A. [She stops to show a male snow person how to use a hammer, although then it turns into a quest to find nails and wood. If you’re around she may ask for your help.]

You wouldn't happen to know someone with a set of nails would you? I've been trying to explain how to use a hammer, but so far the only use it seems to have for them is destroying icicles.

B. [She holds her hat out to a trio of small snow children and lets them run around with it, she straightens up, smiling as they play, once again reminded that no matter how far she goes kids will be kids.]

C. [She walks slowly down a side street, trailing her hand along a wall. She pulls her hand away and frowns. It’s wet. She stops and stares up at the wall before turning to find someone nearby to ask about it.]

Have you noticed that the walls appear to be dripping a little?

D. Wildcard -- She’ll be wandering around for a few days and open to interacting with Joikullians and Circle members alike.

II. Frosty Festival
After Faerun, Carmen hadn’t been expecting another festival so soon and yet here she was and there was quite a lot to see at this festival too.

A. [Carmen was a little intrigued by the idea of the games; although after discovering the melting walls she wasn’t sure if now was the right time to engage. Still, perhaps you can convince her to join and not just sit on the sidelines and watch.]

I guess if you need someone else for your team, I wouldn't mind...

B. [She does, of course, partake in the food offered. The curry is tempting, though by the look on her face, it's clear that one of the villagers added a bit too much spice to the dish. And that’s saying something as usual Carmen feels like she can handle her curry. To compensate she quickly accepts one of the offered popsicles. That should help right? She notices you about to take a bowl as well. She coughs.]

I'd be careful with that.

C. [And what sort of festival would it be without a little shopping (paired with more scouting of course)? Carmen does her best to engage in conversation with the vendors, usually trying to steer the conversation towards the melting snow, but that proves tricky. She turns to you and holds up a very warm looking blanket.]

“This would be good to keep, don’t you think?”

D. [The day ends with a dance and Carmen finds that a little harder to resist than the games. She may not be a tabaxi any more, but she still oozes grace as she easily swings into the circle and began to dance in earnest. She may spot you standing to the side or perhaps you are already in the circle, but she quickly grabs you by the arm and grins.]

Come on! Let’s show them how it’s done.

E. Wildcard -- In her bright red coat she can be easy to spot among the crowds of the festival. Go have fun in some other way if these aren’t appealing to you.

01. Hugs
“I-I really a-a-appreciate this. B-but I don’t t-think it’s h-helping.”

[Hunk stammers between chattering teeth. Hunk can be found surrounded by a few snow people, holding him between them as they try to help make him warmer. They they do have blankets, it’s really not enough to mask their cold bodies. Hunk’s teeth are nearly audible as they chatter, but at the same time he doesn’t want to be rude and just break away from the hugging natives. After all, they’re trying.

They do seem to take a hint though and back away. Hunk rubs at his arms and shakes some more.]

“M-maybe just l-leave the b-b-blankets.”

[Hunk looks around for a familiar face, maybe if he can find a flesh and blood person to hug for a bit he’d get some of his warmth back.]

02. Mini
[Hunk falls back into the snow with a surprised yelp. Standing before him in the snow, a small figure stretches its arms above its head. The natives had asked Hunk for his help building snowmen...he hadn’t realized they also meant help increasing their population. He stares for a moment, not sure what to say as a few of the natives pat him on the shoulder and thank him for his help. He’s just...stunned for a moment that’s all.]

“Uhm...hi?”

[The new snow person smiles and holds out its hand, “Hello! It’s so wonderful to meet you.” The voice is a higher pitch, so Hunk imagines the snow person might be female, but that could also be an incorrect assumption.]

“Y-yeah...same. I’m Hunk. What do I call you?”

[The snow person tilts its head, lowering its hands to its side, “I don’t know. What would you like to call me?”]

“Uhh…”

[He looks over at you. A little help? He did NOT sign up for this.]

03. Shopping
[Hunk, being half his size in the past world, had not really had an opportunity to stock up on clothes. However, this place seemed to love oversized jackets and ponchos that looked beyond cozy at the moment. Hunk proudly holds up a large, golden yellow poncho that comes with a hood.]

“What about this one? Look! It even has a place to keep my hands warm.”

[In his excitement to show you, he nearly knocks over a glass orb the size of a soccer ball. He yelps and goes to catch it, but misses. Luckily his new snow person companion is there to help and catches it for him. “Oh! We must be careful Hunk. That looked important.”]

04. Food
A.
[It doesn’t take Hunk long to get himself drafted into teaching the snow people how to cook. It starts with a few casual identifications of certain vegetables they’ve obtained and suddenly he finds himself in what could roughly be described as a make-shift kitchen out in the open. Somehow in the process he might have even dragged you into it as well.

Hunk takes one look at the and already sees a few problems.]

“Well, okay, one we can’t really cook without a fire...but I can show you guys how to make some nice salads and salsas. Second...why do you guys have a crowbar in here? That’s not a kitchen appliance.”

B. [Due to his expertise, it’s no wonder that eventually they recruit him to help with one of the food booths as well. He smiles at the familiar scent of curry being served and picks up a spoon to sample. Hunk’s face immediately goes red and he sputters.]

“Hot! HOT!”

[Hunk quickly scrambles for some water and guzzles it down -- ice cold of course. He lets out a loud gasp, smacking his now tender lips, before turning back to the proprietor,]

“How much did you add?!”

[Hunk normally thinks of himself as a man who can handle his spicy foods, but this was just insane.

The ice-man gives him a sheepish grin and a ridiculous amount to be added. Hunk stares at him for a moment and then hurries over to the pot where the curry is being made,]

“Well, I’m not sure if we can salvage that. Why don’t you handle serving and I’ll take care of preparation?”

[He starts working with some of the ingredients stashed nearby and notices you approaching the booth,]

“Hey. You might want to give us a minute if you’re wanting curry. I think this batch might be nearing volcanic levels of spice.”
