[While he's perfectly content to watch the lanterns go by in amiable silence, his eyes catching some but not all of the messages written on them, he's quick to drag himself out of his own thoughts and give a nod of agreement.]

It was a really great idea. We don't have any traditions like this back home, so I can't say I would have thought of it myself. But...it seems like a really nice way to keep everyone's spirits up.
