Meddy was created by a Galateion. They were supposed to help out with assisting in the medic's medical bays and stuff like that. [ there's a 'but' at this point. one can almost feel it- ] But! When the original owner of Meddy decided to leave for an adventure, they gifted them to Uncle Leeds when he was still a teenager! The medic and Uncle Leeds were close friends so Meddy was a parting gift of sorts and it was also to protect Meddy, since the trip the medic joined was kinda dangerous.
They learned about human medicine and health as a result. Better to look out for Uncle Leeds and Auntie Laura and everyone else back at NODICE.
