It's not dead, it's just... different. There's a whole bustling city back there, full of people with jobs and lives and friends and whatever else. So what if there's no trees or grass?

You know what I learned recently? I learned that other people in the Circle don't use the same words for simple things that I use. I learned that animals that exist on my world don't exist on other people's worlds. If we're to do this, we can't keep thinking that our truths are the only truths. You have your definition of life, they have theirs. It's not our job to come in and try to force ideas that don't fit. It's our job to save them.
