Who: Bolin and YOU?!!??!
Where: All over the place.
When: Throughout the sickness event.
Rating Most likely will stay PG.
What: A large former-rock boy gets his bearings then becomes miserably sick. Special appearance by a small ferret.
THE WHERE-AM-I, WHAT-IS-THIS PROMPT (BEFORE SICKNESS):
[ He barely had a chance to speak to Astoria before the mysterious woman seemed to whisk herself away, off to handle some other matter of grave importance. Now, Bolin's definitely not opposed to helping some people out, but this might be the worst time to pull him. As far as he knows, his hometown is going to be destroyed by the work of a scary, domineering and possibly-insane tyrant if he doesn't get a message across in time. There is no time, and he would love to help these people out later, but he has to go home immediately!
Pabu being with him for some reason is really great and quells some of his anxiety but it's not nearly enough to put him at ease. So, he's chasing the misty servants around, trying to get one of them to speak to him. ] Wait! Just listen to me! I cannot be here! [ They seem to do a great job at evading him, phasing right through him when he tries to touch them. He spots one phase right into a door, and Bolin slams open that door. ] PLEASE!
[ It's the door to the bath? Sorry if anyone was taking a soak in there. The where-am-I prompt is now also the suddenly-naked prompt. Just pulling out all the classics. ]
THE SICK BOI PROMPT (WEEK ONE):
[ Despite how little mind Bolin seems to actively pay to his own health, he's actually the sort who doesn't get sick easily. Toughing it out on the streets as a child must have built one very strong immune system, able to take on anything. So, it's rare for him to get the flu. It's an especially bad flu too. He's sniffing constantly, and his mind is all a-fog. Even Pabu seems concerned about him, but there's nothing the little guy can really do but poke his nose in Bolin's face. ] Okay, Pabu, I know we never trained for this, but I know you're smart. [ Loud sniff. ]
Do you know what tissues are? Do you think you can find me s-s-s'ACHOO!!
[ And at once, a huge gust of wind passes by, triggered by his sneeze. Bolin's an Airbender now, apparently, and he knows nothing at all about how to be one. Two things can happen now:
1. His gust of wind is strong enough to knock your character off their feet, along with many other miscellaneous items, probably. Sorry about that. Or ...
2. His gust of wind blows his beloved fire ferret way, way up into the sky, where he lands on a ledge, barely hanging onto ... life. Sorry, Pabu. ]
STILL THE SICK BOI PROMPT (WEEK THREE):
[ And now he's slowly going blind? Hey, what the f#$% (censored because he's a nick toon). A few days into the week and Bolin's vision seems to have blurred to the point where he can make out the vague shape of things in his surroundings, but he's lost on the details. This means it's very hard for him to tell people apart until they start to speak. When he comes across a person somewhat shorter than him, who has more of a feminine build (they may or may not actually be a girl), he's quick to rush up to them and hold their face affectionately. ]
... Opal? [ No ...... ]
WILDCARD
[ OOC: yeah honestly i'm up for anything ... if anybody wants me to write a starter, give me an emoji and i'll try to ... write a prompt based on it. ]

week one;
But she has to fend this mild sickness for herself, no time to whine about it like she used to when she was a kid, and only hold out hope that somewhere in the kitchen she can procure a similar sort of soup to help keep her sniffles at bay.
Instead, she's caught off-guard by a huge gust of wind from seemingly nowhere, falling bum-over-teakettle and taken so aback she just remains seated on the floor of the Temple hall. Poor Platt has been knocked even further down the hall.
Still sitting on the floor, she looks over towards where the gust came from, hair disheveled out of its updo.]
Was...did that come from you?
no subject
Yeah, it's ... kind of a new thing. I don't really have the hang of it yet. And if I knew my sneezes would become hazardous I probably wouldn't have accepted that soup from that one guy with the flu.
[ Bolin will accept any sort of food offered to him, though. When you grow up in the street, you develop that kind of opportunistic attitude to simple luxuries. There's another sniff, but he tries to keep himself from sneezing again. He also offers Allura a hand, and stares at her mouse with some concern. ] Sorry. Did I hurt you?
no subject
Allura, for example, rarely got ill. But now--
She reaches for Bolin's offered hand, but her reach stutters to a stop, turning her head to look away from him, and...]
Ah.. [She brings her wrist up to her nose, and sneezes, the tail-end of it a small squeak:] chu.
[She blushes, sniffing, and then takes Bolin's hand with her opposite one, still rubbing beneath her nose as her eyes water slightly.]
No, I am quite all right. It seems everyone in the Temple has some case of the sniffles.
...you're new, aren't you?
no subject
I am. You could tell? [ There probably aren't a lot of people in the temple. Or maybe he has that lost look to him. ]
Sorry about your ... mouse. [ His ferret scampers over to meet said mouse, curious about the other animal. ]
no subject
It is not so much that I can tell, but it is more that you said that your hazardous sneeze was a new thing. I assume it's something to do with your new abilities here.
[She looks over at the strange red creature that goes to greet Platt, the yellow mouse still laying square on his back but now more for dramatics if anything. His response to the ferret is to jump up suddenly with a squeak, scampering away from it and back to Allura.
As he clambours up her leg and back up onto her shoulder, Allura shakes her head.]
It is quite all right. He's a sturdy fellow.
no subject
Now that he has a good look at Platt, Bolin can't help but find the little guy adorable, especially with how easily he startled. ]
Aww. Did Pabu scare you? Don't worry, Pabu wouldn't hurt a bumblefly. [ Hmm. ] Except when he does decide to chase bumbleflies, then he hurts them.
[ Menacing close-up to Pabu's face. Anyway, he gives Platt a pat on the head with his finger. ]
You're right about all that. It's kinda been a weird few days.
no subject
Allura, meanwhile, lets out a bit of a hoarse laugh, turning her head away slightly once again to cough. Not...the best first impression for a princess but, it isn't as though her title holds much weight in this universe without Voltron.]
Have you only been here a few days? It must be dreadful to arrive to a foreign place, only to get sick with...whatever it is that's going around.
no subject
That's ... pretty much my situation. But it's fine! Just the flu. I'm sure it'll pass. You caught it too, didn't you?
no subject
But she thinks to Struxta, to the dying plantlife around the Temple, and there's a moment where she frowns before catching herself, offering him a reassuring, affirming smile.]
It will certainly pass. There are healers among us. I've caught it as well but it's not as... [she gestures at him, tone playful] strong as yours seems to be.
sorry for how late this is
[ He gives the space a little punch, and a gust of wind seems to come out. ] Ever since coming here, I've been able to do this.
TOTALLY CHILL because now it's my turn to be late
she perks up, both at the demonstration of that tiny gust of wind coming from (seemingly) his fist, but also at the revelation of where she's heard the term 'bending' before.
doesn't help that it was in a bath shared with a pretty
and nakedgirl, but!!]Oh! Do you happen to know someone named Korra?
no subject
Do I know her? She's one of my best friends! [ Or so Bolin thinks, even if the show writers forgot about their friendship for like 3 seasons. ]
Have you met her already? She's pretty great, isn't she?
