A. food (pre- or week 1 sickness)
[Here's the scene: you're in the kitchen, or maybe you've just left it, and you have in your possession your precious freshly-made meal. You spent time on this. Maybe you're sick, too, and it was an herculean effort to make it at all.B. week 2 sickness
And then there's Ling, appearing quite suddenly at your elbow and peering not too closely at the food, but close enough.]
Are you going to finish that?
[Pushing him right in the face is allowed, perhaps even encouraged.]
A2. bonus
[Sadly the entire prompt is just Ling on the ground, face down, not moving and seemingly either unconscious or worse. That's the prompt. He could be anywhere; the hallway, the kitchen again, just outside the door to your room, even outside the Temple itself-- but he's apparently made some bad choices in the more recent hours, and he's either starving or grievously ill or both.]
[Or, the one with hallucinations, because that's always fun. Ling is notoriously bad at taking care of himself, which in this case means not staying in bed when he reasonably should be. After his stellar performance passing out from hunger before, it might not even be obvious that he's as sick as he is without a really close inspection. That will reveal the sickly, pallid color of his skin, the way he wobbles a little when trying to hold still, and the feverish sweat he keeps pretending he isn't experiencing.C. powers (timed whenever)
So he could be better. But he's out of bed and taking to the hallways, for one particular reason: eventually, the things he's seeing have to stop following him around, right? You might find him wandering around at random, looking distant and distracted with a hand clutched over his own face, or slightly goofier: just standing there, waving his hand at someone who isn't there like he's trying to reach out and touch them.
They are, of course, not there. And he knows this, he does, and it's getting more and more annoying to see things. At one point he reaches out as if to grab somebody by the shoulder and with his fingers clasped around nothing at all, looks toward whoever's stopped to watch this display.]
How many of me do you see here right now?
[Wherever you are, you're minding your own business when out of the corner of your eye you spot something dark and wiggling creeping into your periphery. This is, perhaps, more concerning than it should be, as a second look will reveal that it's... ink. It's ink crawling over the wall or the book you're reading or maybe even your own clothing before sliding off to the next surface like it was never there, and it spells out a message:D. wildcardHELLO LOOK LEFT
YOU CAN REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE
...which, actually, he doesn't know, but he wants to try and see how many ways this power can be pushed. Looking left will reveal Ling, holding a fountain pen and wiggling it significantly when he catches your eye. Write him something!!
(Spoiler: it probably won't work.)
Ling can also be found just mucking around with his new and very strange power, making a few doodles move or squeezing his fist around a pen to coat his whole arm in ink at once like a dark glove. This in particular is very exciting, ooooh, aaaah.]
[whatever u want... pm me or pp me atjojoveller to plot!!]

Maybe if I had an open fire... [Campfire grilling is his only skill. And like, making cold cereal.] Besides that, not really, no. This is more embarrassing now than I thought it'd be.

Can you seriously not even start a fire? Look, there are free meals provided in the kitchens, what's wrong with just eating that?
( it's plain, but it's, you know. edible. though a horrible thought dawns on him. )
You do know where they are, right?
