[There’s merit in watching others practice, watching them spar, watching footwork fly — whether it’s hand-to-hand combat, or viewing the arc of tempered steel cross and sing against each other. Ever since Lucina had them perched up high in the mezzanine above, and Arenvald had made him watch from ground level, Connor has made it a habit to visit the coliseum on occasion. Viewing the talents of others, their fumbles and their work towards improvement, can only be advantageous. Judging who’s suited for combat, who wishes to learn. The rawness of ability between members of the Circle out on display for him to freely observe.
