What: Wash starts the Circle's first fight club. Kind of.

[This will be poster's choice - I'll put the network invitation in Wash's toplevel, but the long and short of it is, he'll be holding combat training for those who want to learn how to fight, and those who want to help teach are open as well. Feel free to make toplevels learning and/or teaching, and let me know if you need anything more or want prompt ideas!]

[ North might've been polite enough to ask if Wash wanted help first... York was not. No, York just got a good look at where Wash was in that video, heard the "you know where to find me," and headed out. He's out of armor and dressed to spar in case he does wind up helping, but mostly he's just showing up because Wash can't realistically flee from him in this situation.

Okay, he can, but it'd look even weirder and he'd be accountable to people besides his old teammates, who are still bewildered by the lengths he's gone to hide. ]

Hey Wash, I've got a skill I want to teach.

[For a split second, Wash freezes where he is. Turns out the problem with letting people know your location is that they know where you are, and not everyone is going to use that information kindly.]

[Which is why he takes that half second to silently curse York's willingness to take advantage of his attempted good deed - really, what else should have he expected? - before responding.]

If it's infiltration, you can do that on your own time.

[He doesn't turn around.]

No, it's communication.

[ Wash had to know this was going to happen, York himself saw North's reply before he headed over. Which was kinder, yes, but he figured if they both replied Wash would just cancel his lessons and York didn't want to lose track of him again. He'll apologize for that at least. ]

But it's kind of a 'do as I say, not as I do' deal I guess -- sorry for showing up unannounced, I was worried you'd ignore me and book it again. What was up with that?

[Between putting himself back together after Epsilon and living with the Reds and Blues, Wash has developed a good amount of self-control over the years. Right now, that's all that's keeping him from storming off.]

[Communication. From York. Yeah right.]

You want to talk communication? What part of "I can't handle this right now" did you not understand?!

[It's louder than he wanted, and higher pitched - he's slipping. He takes a sharp breath and lets it out slowly, forcing calm as best he can.]

Fuck off, York. I'm working.

[He still doesn't turn around.]

[ York blinks, almost taking a step back before steadying, standing his ground. He does lower his voice slightly so others can't hear them unless they've already tuned in due to Wash's tiny screech. ]

That's not what you said. You said "not right now," I'm not a complete asshole to just show up if you said you couldn't handle it. Can you still not handle our existence? Because it's over a month later and we've actually been really worried. I need to talk to you.

[ He won't push for it to be right here, but. He needs it to happen. ]
