welcome to akvos (log #1)

welcome to the kingdom of akvos.
It will happen at random- you could be asleep, or wandering the Temple, or a variety of other options. It will feel a little strange, like a sudden warmth spreading across your skin, and then your bracelet will light up. When you blink again, everything has shifted - changed, developed, like in that blink of an eye you have advanced . . . where, exactly?

A NOTE FROM YOUR FRIENDLY . . . WAIT, WHO IS THAT?
But before anything too weird can happen . . . your watch flashes again, beeps once, and on it has a new message, a hologram-sparkly image with a young man who (to some individuals!) looks quasi-familiar. He is thin, with large eyes and speaks quietly, but with great purpose. Whoever this is, it doesn't seem to be a person that is a fan of much pomp and circumstance. . . but wherever he is, he is speaking on dry-land, though he looks like he's just recently gotten out of a pool.

"If you are watching this, then you are a member of the Circle, and have triggered a protective rune that I have cast within this Kingdom known as Akvos that has activated this message. I do not have much time, but my name is Kathashun. I need your assistance, and I am not sure whether we will ever find one another again. But if you are listening to this, heed my words: take care, because you know not what your actions do. The magic in this world is powerful, and whatever is seeping through this planet may not be able to be stopped, but trust me when I say that when we meet -- "

There is a noise, a banging on a door, and Kathashun's eyes dart to the left, before a voice off-screen says, "As much as I love listening to you talk, we need to go." There's a moment's pause before Kathashun refocuses his attention on you, and his eyes (normally a deep brown) begin to change into what appears to be a liquid gold color, and the message begins to crackle.

"We will meet again. Heed my words; find the Princess."

And, just like that, the connection dies, leaving you to the depths of the ocean.

Welcome to Akvos.

ARRIVAL A: THE PALACE OF WAHINE.
The first group arrives at the Royal Palace of Wahine, smack-dab in the bustling center of what appears to be the lost city of Atlantis. It is in an area of Akvos that is completely underwater, with gentle currents wafting through the water that guide people on their merry way.

There is plenty to locate here, depending on what you want to find. There are dozens of musically inclined merfolk wandering through the courtyards of the Palace, a shopping area selling intricate jewelry and other decorative pieces, and even the Queen herself. Feel free to set up threads regarding any information you discovered in the World OOC post, but here are some ideas for those needing a place to start!

Prompt Ideas:

- Are you musically inclined? There seems to be a band of colorful mermaids striking up a merry tune with reed flutes, horns made out of massive seashells, and is that a bass playing the bass? You bet your ass it is. . There's even a potential spot for the Circle to join in, if you're so inclined! They may even pay you for your services if you're really good.

- The Queen has offered a reward for any information concerning the location of Princess Kea, who has been missing for a little over a week. A band of scrappy young investigators (complete with matching uniforms) is eager to begin, and has a list of potential "clues" to track down in the Palace area, ranging from: the Princess' prized hair-comb, her harpoon, information on her favorite restaurant, and her beloved pet flounder. None of these items are actually within reach except her favorite restaurant, which will happily either (1) talk about how amazing the Princess is or (2) accept help in the kitchens to serve up a busy restaurant time. Either way, you can earn some seashells.

- The Royal Guard is looking for some mercenary work to comb the city for clues, and seeing as the Circle is oh-so-eager to help out with whatever is going on in Akvos, they're willing to give you a shot! The only problem is that you have to be ready to swim, so be prepared to swim endless laps in circles around the perimeter of Queen Wai's massive home to seemingly no avail. . . . do they actually need the help or are they just laughing at you? Dammit.

- The Palace of Wahine has an underwater library, which is pretty expansive . . . how do they have all of these materials underwater? There are several helpful octopus-libraries that are using their various tentacles to grab books, scrolls, and other materials off of the shelves to hand them to nearby patrons, and there's a lot of material here about the history of Akvos! You may also find a pretty interesting comic book series revolving around a powerful mermaid who looks suspiciously like Queen Wai, who thwarts the evils of inequality. If you ask Queen Wai about it, she will assure you that she has nothing to do with it, and her constituents are creatively minded people . . . but she doesn't seem to mind the good press.
ARRIVAL B: THE DEPTHS OF MARKOLOS.
The second group arrives in a rare pocket of air in Akvos -- a massive cavern, with multiple alcoves along the walls. Here, the population seems to be rather bleak in comparison to the rainbow-colored folk in the Palace of Wahine -- merpeople with larger eyes, sharper teeth, and darker scales. You have successfully located the hunting grounds of the Kingdom of Akvos, known as the Depths of Markolos -- an impossibly deep sinkhole that stretches into the depths of oblivion.

The local population here doesn't actually know what's at the bottom of it, but lately, there are odd happenings in the Depths that the population will tel you about. For one, dead fish seem to be appearing with increasing frequency, and the temperature of the Depths has dropped to a frigid point. Layers of ice have been found below the surface that were not there previously, and there is plenty of talk of whether or not their food supply for the Kingdom is endangered by whatever is causing this random bout of ice.

Prompt Ideas:

- Have you ever tried spear-fishing? An angler-fish mermaid, with haunting eyes and massively sharp teeth, is eager to teach the Otherworlders! She's pretty nice, despite her scary appearance, and will pay seashells to folks willing to stay in the "shallow" area of the Depths to spear pretty easy looking fish. She will also lend out fishing equipment for those want to give it a try!

- The Brig is located in the Depths, and if you violate the law in other areas, you will be brought here. The cells are small and cramped, with no beds or cots to speak of, and you are fed less-than-great quality raw fish while in here. Petty thievery and the like will be punished for two days, and once you are released, you are stuck in the Depths You can also talk to some of the prisoners here, who will be interested in swapping a surprising amount of seashells for fresh raw fish. They also like to gamble. :)

- There are some side-tunnels in the Depths along the walls that contain shellfish to hunt and scavange! The only problem is that some of them have a fairly strong current, and -- voila, it is a massive Slip-N-Slide. Sneaking into one will rocket you through a tunnel and spit you out at a lower level of the Depths, but be careful -- you might wind up face to face with a pretty terrifying looking fish that is a bit too big for you to handle, so explore these tunnels with some care.

- The mermaids here will warn against going too deep into the Depths, but there is nothing to stop you from exploring. In addition to the ice clustered along the western wall of the cavern, there's plenty of creepy looking fish in the depths. In particular, the mermaids will warn you against infuriating a creature named Honohu -- who is this beloved little Leviathian-looking monstrosity who will absolutely attempt to eat you if you go too deep. Enjoy?

ARRIVAL C: THE FIELDS OF AKOVOSIA
The third group will be deposited in a beautiful coral reef, full of color and swaying seaweed. It is an impossibly beautiful sight, and the merpeople here are equally bright and colorful, to blend in with tehir surroundings. There are no shortage of clownfish and angelfish-esque merpeople floating around, collecting plantlife, creating new clothing, or even hunting poisonous smaller fish for usage in their medicinal techniques.

However, the more you explore the fields, the more you begin to notice odd patches of dead coral. It almost looks as if certain random patches were afflicted by some type of illness that has completely robbed it of its color. The merpeople nearby will not know very much about it, but if you continue digging and asking the right people, perhaps you'll find out the source of this sudden illness.

Prompt Ideas

- Have you ever gone dolphin-racing? . . . or, well, they look like dolphins, complete with saddles and harnesses that the merfolk are entirely too eager to pass off onto the landfolk. It seems they race these dolphins in the currents for sport in between their collecting of plantlife and hunting. Feel free to ask the curator of these beings, a burly-looking mermaid who will happily lend you a dolphin for a seashell an hour.

- Batter up! You can find what appears to be a weird baseball/rugby crossover sport, in which the merpeople crack hunks of coral with sticks . . . but then tackle each other at the different bases instead of, you know, tapping them lightly to signify them being out. They're always looking for new players to join, but be warned! They take their sport seriously.

- Investigating the beautiful coral reef will garner a lot of pretty looking rocks and other types of intricate material that could be used for crafting, which is always up for collecting for money. Mermaids will be wandering around with baskets to collect various goods, so feel free to help out!

- Finally, there are a lot of mermaids just sitting around shooting the shit, gossiping, fussing about home, and collecting materials to make what's needed in their day to day lives. A few of them seem to be knitting some type of material underwater -- weird, right? But feel free to obtain some cool textiles fresh off the proverbial racks, for a price.
ARRIVAL D: THE THUNDERDOME.
The last group to arrive may think that this is some type of stupid joke, as the merfolk around this area really do refer to it as the Thunderdome. It is a massive underwater cavern, filled with thousands and thousands of jellyfish. It seems that the merfolk tend to these beings for a multitude of reasons -- one, for food, two, for venom, and three, for . . . electricity?

The jellyfish in this area seem to crackle with energy, and the merfolk in this area will inform you that this is where they obtain power which they charge their weapons and lights with. The bioluminescence is pretty startling to see, and the jellyfish themselves seem to be relatively harmless. But there is a certain area of the Thunderdome that is flickering in and out of darkness . . . an area where the jellyfish seem to be a lot less bright. The merfolk don't really understand what's going on, but whatever is happening in Akvos seems to be affecting the jellyfish in a negative way. They don't seem horribly concerned, but. Here we are.

Prompt Ideas:

- The armory is located in the Thunderdome, and you can buy a bunch of cool weapons here! Glow in the dark swords, electrified knives, bows, and harpoons can be found here, varying in price. They all seem to be rust-proof, too, given their environment, and the craftsmanship here is like no other. The people here really take their craft seriously, so happy shopping.

- The main attraction here, though, is definitely the jellyfish. They deliver a rather nasty shock, and anyone who touches them will glow a weird blue color for at least three days afterwards. The merpeople seem to know how to fix this, but likely will not do so because they warned you not to touch the damn things, you stupid landfolk. Navigate them carefully, and you may even be able to earn some coin in helping shepherd them!

- A group of mermaids are looking for people to fish out the sickly looking jellyfish in order to be treated by what appears to be Akvos' version of a veterinarian. The sickly looking ones are the ones that are flickering dim, and while the veterinarian has no idea what is going on with them, they want them out. Just be careful not to touch them, though. You will definitely glow blue for a few days, even though these ones are ill!

- The mermaids in the Thunderdome enjoy practicing their skills with each other, in terms of weaponry, battle tactics, and the like, but they also enjoy their downtime too! Find little pockets of folks hanging out, chatting, and playing some weird game that involves what appear to be coral dice and flattened stones. It almost looks like they're gambling seashells or something . . . time to get in on the action, if you can learn the rules, anyway.
Additionally, please feel free to write up and work with your own prompts! These are presented as jumping off points for your characters, not limitations. The idea of this world- as with all the others- is to explore. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask them back on the various threads back in the OOC post from before!

REMEMBER: For the entirety of this log, you can only physically interact with those in your group. For the first two weeks, the network will be completely defunct. After two weeks, you may send intermittent text messages to those in other groups.

From this point forward, the Circle has become involved with the Kingdom of Akvos. What your character finds out, decides, and does from here on out will affect the future of this city- one way or another! But what you do is completely up to you. What you discover, explore, and uncover will be yours to discover, explore, and uncover. Who knows what you might find? :)

[ oh, it's... easily-scared girl. might have to think of some jerk nickname for her sooner or later but right now he's just about ready to chase down the jerk fish that stung him when the wound stings and he can feel his arm stiffen.

... okay that's not good. ]

You-- [ scowls as he coughs out bubbles, then... whatever. it's just water. in his mouth and lungs but he's not drowning so, fine. ] I know that! [ well he kind of does because of hero studies and everything but he's not going to be too great at the aid part of heroics. ]

It's just a shitty sting, stop screaming. I'm not gonna fucking die from something like this. [ ....... she is. kind of knowledgeable about injury, isn't she. but he refuses to die to something this lame out of sheer fury. ]
cmyk: (009)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-15 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
[ Being on constant high alert for every little thing might not be great for her heart, but it means she knows a lot about the 3458962 ways you could possibly die from any given situation. So when Bakugou coughs and says that he'd been stung, she's going to have to beg to differ that he's not going to fucking die from something like this. ]

Try not to move!! Are you having trouble breathing? [ or whatever passes for the "breathing" they're doing now ] Can you feel your hands? Jellyfish stings- they might not sound so serious, but your lungs may become paralyzed and then you'll stop breathing and then you'll die!

[ And if that's the case, there's little she can do to help ]
explosivo: (some bullshit happening somewhere)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-15 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
[ yeah well HE'D beg to differ about her begging to differ about him dying, so there. ]

What do you mean, try not to move? I'm sure as fuck gonna move to find that asshole fish! [ he bats at her, you know what, forget this whole treatment thing--very smart idea of him, but he's serious here. more important than looking at his wound is FINDING THE CULPRIT. ] Look it stung me on the arm, is that gonna fucking paralyze my lungs? [ ...... it might, actually. but he's bloodthirsty. ]

I'm not gonna get paralyzed, I'm gonna get even. [ a totally smart decision. he tries to brush her off to pursue the fish, even as his arm stiffens with pain, and it shows in his movement. ]
cmyk: (040)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-16 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
What's the point of finding that fish?!

[ He'll feel better about himself in his last dying moments? Is that worth it, Bakugou?? ]

There are capillaries everywhere under the skin on your arm, and if the toxins get far enough into your bloodstream, it'll be able to paralyze your lungs! And if you keep moving, that makes your heart pump faster, and it'll reach your lungs that much quicker!!

[ Just look at that pathetic attempt to swat her aside, he's already doomed. But ugh- she has to do something, she has no idea what, but she has to do something-- ]

Keep your arm below heart level for now! [ She'll just... reach over with a finger and lower his arm ] We have to find somebody who can help- a doctor- somebody!
explosivo: (bite hard)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-16 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
[ YES it would be worth it and this is why he might as well die.

only... fuck this because he knows she's saying facts here and being a hell of a lot more logical than him and he's letting his ego get carried away, wanting revenge above treatment. STILL. ]
What makes you think this shitty thing is fatal anyway? I'll walk it off, fuck. [ ... ] Swim it off. It's not a big damn deal! [ or no, obviously the short sighted assumption here is that it's nonfatal. but it might as well be his logic that if it's not killing him instantly then it's not worth bothering about.

merfolk nearby motion at her, it seems that there is a mer-clinic nearby that might be able to diagnose and treat the wound.

and... the question is getting bakugou there when he is still trying to ditch her to go hunt down that fish, like an idiot. ]
cmyk: (071)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-16 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Why are boys so dumb, insisting everything is alright when they're so clearly DYING? Yachi is a manager of a sports team; she knows dumb boys who try to push through things they shouldn't, too focused on the here and now and thinking it's more important than extending their future. It's her job to preserve that future, so even when it wrenches her gut, she swallows down her fears and kicks off towards those mermaids who seem to have noticed their plight.

She speaks quickly and get two of them to come back with her, one of them taking out something that looks to be a salve to temporarily soothe the wound before they can get to the clinic.

The other one unravels a fishing net. This gets thrown over Bakugou's head. ]
explosivo: (lowly mortal opens portal to hell)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-17 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
[ first of all he totally isn't CLEARLY DYING, he is MAYBE DYI... he is absolutely not dying. he eyes the two fishy newcomers with suspicion, not outright hostile towards whoever they are but still distrustful. ] Who the hell are these two jackoffs--

[ and... then one tosses a net over him. capturing him successfully. he swipes at the net but isn't able to swim out in time, and--oh great he can't blast his way out either. ] Oi girlie, what's your problem?! Get this shit off me, asshole! I'll kill you into sashimi!

[ anyway just going to snarl death threats even as the merpeople haul him off, looking amused. humans sure are weird... they probably can't apply the salve while he's struggling though. ]
cmyk: (034)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-17 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
[ If he can still struggle like that, then he can probably survive the trip without the salve, is probably what the mermaids are thinking. Or maybe they're just waiting for the toxins to take its toll and tire him out a little so he can stop moving and screaming. They tow him behind them like a bag of fish after a long day's hunt, and Yachi swims beside him, trying to find a good place to interject a "Calm down" or "It'll be okay" or "Don't worry" but there's no good time for it.

Like that, they make it to the clinic and through the doors into the lobby- one of the mermaids parts to speak to a receptionist and schedule a room. The other stands guard, both hands tightly gripping the ends of the net so Bakugou cannot get out. Yachi stands next to the mermaid, pressed against her side as close as she can get, because the other occupants of the room? Cages of sharks, angler fish, and octopi rest on the seats next to other mermaids.

This isn't actually a mer-clinic. It's a veterinary clinic. ]
explosivo: (death penalty is totally badass)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-17 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
[ it takes a while but what hastens the effect of the fish poison is struggling. obviously. he's a healthy kid but exertion only makes it spread through bloodflow and shortly mid-way into the clinic he...

actually finds himself dazed and buzzed even while growling threats through a fixed snarl. it turns out the poison is also a sedative. which is probably a good thing, who knows if he might try to bite his way out like a wild animal or what. at this point he's half-docile and half-furious still like trying to claw his way into lucidity.

but mostly he is out of it. ]
Hey is that a shark...? [ stares through the net at the other unfortunate patients here. ] Cool shit... I want a shark. Fuckin... pet shark I can feed my enemies to... [ he reaches to... try to pet it.......... he might be dying of embarrassment later.

the veterinarians hand yachi some mer-vet-paperwork waiting her signature because surely she must be the unruly male's owner. sign bakugou over to them??? ]
cmyk: (036)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-17 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
[ Yachi gently swats his hand away before he gets his fingers chomped off. ]

Just sit tight here for a few more minutes, okay? When you get better, we can go out and find a nice shark to play with. [ Something without double rows of sharp teeth, and isn't potentially diseased like the one in the waiting room is.

She trusts the veterinarians to know what they're doing, so she signs Bakugou over to them. So long... farewell... ]

Get better, okay? You'll make it through! I believe in you!!

[ Don't die!!!!! ]
explosivo: (i don't really care now)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-17 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
[ he's not going to die, shut up!!!

he just growls sleepily at her and then at the handlers as they drag him off into the rear room, doing... whatever they're going to do. maybe place a suckermouth fish on him to try to drain the poison out, or stab him with an antivenin. all very fascinating and maybe painful methods and it's basically what he deserves.

aaand around 20 minutes later where yachi can hopefully amuse herself or field off questions by other merpeople asking about her weird pet, they'd lead bakugou out with his arm wrapped in kelp and some kind of mollusc attached to the sting area. it's some kind of remedy hopefully. he still seems pretty sedated, just growls some kind of threat as they gently push him at her and he... rests his head on her shoulder... she's probably a good height to be a chin-rest.

the vet smiles at her expectantly and offers her one last piece of paperwork.

a bill. got any shells?? ]
cmyk: (062)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-17 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh thank god he's still alive—-

though, when she sees the bill, she nearly jolts and knocks Bakugou off her shoulder, because honestly, it would have been cheaper if he had died.

Ugh- that many shells... she places a hand on his shoulder to steady him while she lets her backpack slide off her shoulder so she can dig through the pockets. She has some shells, but not a lot. A couple of small ones, iridescent but still rather small, but not much else inside her backpack aside from some notebooks that are entirely waterlogged and ruined now. ]

Um... I can pay this much for now, but... nn....

[ A human only needs one kidney and half a liver to survive. She will make up the rest of the money somehow. ]
explosivo: (Default)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-17 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
[ aww... well they're sympathetic but they are still a business here. the nurses consult among themselves before offering an alternative, they're not totally heartless cold blooded monsters here or anything.

yachi can drop by to help out in the clinic and feed the lionfish or wash blood off the scrubs (how???) and pay off the debt. it'll only take... two years. yes. such a good deal. see, they can be reasonable here.

also they recommend her pet get his shots and preferably get fixed, he tried to bite several of them in the back room. ]
cmyk: (054)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-18 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Two years!! She might be able to cut that down to one if Bakugou somehow agrees to help out too, but the staff probably wouldn't let him in the back rooms until he gets his shots and gets fixed, and there's no way Yachi will be able to afford any of that on top of the debt she already has. ]

I'm sorry, I can't be a responsible owner to you... [ She places both hands on Bakugou's shoulders. So sorry. ]

I'm going to have to let you go.

[ Off to the pound for him. ]
explosivo: (i don't really care now)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-19 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
[ sleepily snarls some death threat as the handlers drag him off... well, this is unfortunate if they're operating on a loss here but. maybe they could research him or whatever. this is a male human after all, just maybe a rabid... one. who knows if anyone would ever adopt him or he'll just be sitting in the back room for the rest of this extremely exciting trip.

anyway he'll have a fresh grudge against her once he snaps out of it but, at least he's not dying of poison. bad end... i mean, decent end achieved. ]
cmyk: (034)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-20 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
[ Look, they'll take care of him in there!!! Food and shelter and medication and roommates with those sharks he was so keen on before.

Yachi will try to visit him one in a while, but at least she'll come into a windfall of shells at some point in the first two weeks they're here to try to adopt him back, assuming another mermaid hasn't already laid claim. ]
explosivo: (lowly mortal opens portal to hell)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-20 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
[ he seems to react badly to the poison so they have to keep trying to treat him. the good news is it keeps him a little quieter and docile, the bad news is if he's not sedated he tends to do things like threaten the vets with heavily more graphic death threats or try to maim someone with a sea urchin or something.

anyway they've lowered his adoption price a lot because. who wants him??? even if he is a male. they want a nicer cuter male, thanks. at this point they practically shove his leash right at yachi's hands because please, take him away from here.

he looks in better color and 90% recovered from the poison but fixes a bloodthirsty look at her. ]

You.

[ you put him up for adoption!!!!!! ]
cmyk: (057)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-20 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Um.

[ Yachi was hoping to talk to him through the bars of the cage he regains lucidity but this isn't going as planned. She isn't even sure she wants to be holding this leash right now, because never mind it being to keep pets from running away, it means that she can't run away and she very much feels like doing that, with the look he's giving her. ]

How are you feeling now? I caught your fish...

[ NOT SO HE CAN PUNCH IT but it was a learning experience so she knows how not to get stung and have to go through all of this too. ]
explosivo: (victory)

[ NICE UNSAFE GRIN. ] How do I feel? I feel back in killing condition.

[ what... what does that mean. it means he's in a murderous mood and... well he's not a villain and PROBABLY wouldn't snap her neck for putting him in the pound but he's considering how he can put a fish through pain right now.

the vets quickly shoo the both of them out because the sense of bloodlust is getting scary for them. ]

oh, okay. Yachi tears her eyes away from the door and turns to Bakugou, shaking her head vigorously and holding her arms out stretched to either side of her as if blocking him from getting to the hypothetical fish that's not even behind her. ]

You can't kill it! They use the fish for medicine!! The toxins in very small amounts can act as painkillers and similar sort of medication, so you can't hurt it!

Damn, I never would have guessed. [ sarcastic even while radiating bloodlust, because of course. his grin right now might as well be a shark's, for all that he'd talked to other shark patients while buzzed off his ass while being treated back at the vet's. ]

C'mon, just show me the shitty thing. I just wanna talk.

[ just talk. to a fish. y e p. ]
cmyk: (042)

[ Talk... Yeah... Okay.

Yachi's not quite so convinced, but she reluctantly starts swimming away from the vet's, before Bakugou's bloodlust gets taken out on her. Sorry, fish, self-preservation wins out. ]

The fish can't talk back, and it's just going to sting you again if you touch it, you know...

[ Does he want a repeat of the last few days? It had looked like a terrible time for him, so surely he wouldn't want to purposely go through that again. ]
explosivo: (some bullshit happening somewhere)

[personal profile] explosivo 2018-11-23 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that fucker can try. [ but, fine. he supposes he can't intimidate the location of the fish out of her or anything... damn. the leash tugs on him when she moves off, he snarls and grabs at it, yanking it out of her grip. ]

In the first damn place, you. You left me in a pound! [ grudge number two lands squarely on yachi, 2nd place after that fish. ]
cmyk: (035)

[personal profile] cmyk 2018-11-24 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
Gwuhh—-!

[ Yachi lets go of the leash immediately, letting him take it instead of getting tugged any closer to him; she tries to put some distance in between the two of them, but backpedaling does absolutely nothing underwater besides maybe sending her a couple inches skyward. ]

I did, but- Don't get angry! [ too late for that; don't get angrier ] I couldn't afford a longer inpatient stay at the hospital!! If they had discharged you right away, you would have went straight to punching that fish! I can't afford a second hospital stay! I'm not made of shells!!
explosivo: (play play play)
