[OPEN] Well. That Didn't Go Quite As Planned
Who: EVERYONE
Where: The Temple of Beginnings
When: Immediately After The End.
Rating: PG-13, may vary by thread
What: You fall, you pick yourself back up and you move on. Or at least, you try.
Fished Out Of Water
One minute, you are witnessing the fabric of an entire world implode as it is literally ripped apart by powers unknown. The next, that tell-tale twist somewhere beneath your sternum, before you are bodily YANKED away from Akvos, away from the ocean and the Queen and the King and the Princess.
And land back on (mostly) solid, dry ground.
Welcome back to the Temple of Beginnings. Don't worry, there's no hurry for you to get back up just yet.
Hey, Howya Doin'?
Once you do get back up, now is the time to be taking stock of the situation - yours, your friends, and even those new merfolk neighbours (who may need a hand getting their fins back into the water). There is also the missing members of the Circle to consider: people who disappeared on the journey to Akvos, and those who never made it back..
(There's also that small matter with a certain 'witchess-san' that may be a cause for concern to some more than others.)
Whatever the case, it's a lot to process right now. Take the time you have, because you don't know if it'll be enough for what you need.
[[ OOC: Here's an open post for threads reacting to the end of the Akvos world hop. Feel free to use the above prompts, and/or make your own! ]]

OTA
G11 is quiet and fast for someone usually so sluggish. Her first stop is the kitchen to gather supplies: a large wash pan, warm water, a towel, and soap. If someone's in her way, she'll push past them, and once she's got everything she needs, the android finds the nearest room with an active fireplace. Gear and clothes are shed until she's down to her tank top and underwear and her long hair (grimy and tangled) is thrown up into a hasty ponytail.
She settles down for hours in front of the fire. Her gun is disassembled, laid out neatly beside her as she systematically goes over each part out of hundreds. G11 will definitely be taking a whole day to nap after all this is over. And that's before a bath for herself.]

[ The voice is hoarse, but quiet, announcing Vex's presence into the room.
The fire she built outside won't be lit till sundown at the earliest, so a fire being lit indoors certainly caught Vex'ahlia's attention. Much like G11, she's stripped out of her leathers and clothing, all in desperate need of a wash and oiling and treatment for prolonged exposure to salt water, and she nurses a mug of hot tea where she leans in the door way. ]
Do they always have so many parts?
no subject
Talking about guns though? Practically a comfort zone for her than anything else in this weird world-jumping craziness. Especially more easy a topic since most of her conversations end up poking at the differences between her and humans.]
Gotta have so many parts since it's caseless ammo rifle. Also depends on what types of guns you're used to, how old the model is, stuff like that.
no subject
[ She shifts a bit by the door but does not come in, for all that she's curious as heck about it. She's watched Percival work on his guns before, the meticulous process of removing piece by piece, and this weapon seems no different save that it has far far more parts. ]
Are there many types of guns where you come from?
no subject
Oh yeah, definitely. Humanity's got a way of developing tons of things to kill each other. [One might expect a sharp or bitter tone, but G11 says it like it's the most mundane thing it the world. Which is probably weird for her image because she basically looks like a 13yo.] There's handguns, assault rifles, machine guns, submachine guns, and rifles...

You seem tired. Are you okay...?
no subject
Doing maintenance 'cause of the salt water.

[Ayano smiles faintly.]
Are you sure it can’t wait? You look like you could use some sleep, and maybe you should make yourself the priority here.
[She’ll raise her hands sheepishly, though.]
...Ah, but, I’m just a stranger, what do I know!
no subject
[Ayano's mixed signals don't help G11's processing. As far as she can tell, the stranger doesn't seemed phased a out the situation they just got out of. Kind of weird for a human.]
Why do you care about what I'm doing?
no subject
Wait, sleep mode!?
[Ayano jolts backwards with an awkward, surprised smile on her face.]
Oh my gosh, you’re digital!
no subject
Yeaaaah, beep boop and all that. [The real question comes next--] And what do you get out of being friends with everyone.
no subject
Um...fulfillment, I guess. I mean, I know I’m not exactly...the coolest or most fun person, so it’s not like everyone usually wants to be friends with me in return...but! I like helping people and meeting people...
Although lately I haven’t been so good at it. Trying to turn over a new leaf, you know?
no subject
But hey, this could be interesting.]
Hmmmmmmm...Alright. If you're my friend, does that mean you'll give me piggybacks to wherever? [TIME TO ATTEMPT TO REESTABLISH HER LAZY LIFESTYLE.]
no subject
Ah, uh...o-of course! [She flexes her admittedly small bicep]
What kind of friend and big sister would I be if I didn’t?
no subject
Perfect. Then I don't have to wait around for 416. [She pulls the wet rag out of the pot of water and takes a moment to wring it out. If she wasn't in the middle of maintenance, she'd already be
giving ordersmaking requests.]...I'm G11.
no subject
[She bows because she’s polite!!]
416...Is that another robot?
