What: Zari has a Project and she's getting together some friends to help her.

[Zari waits until it looks like they're alone and everything is quiet, before turning to the rest of the group with a nod. She's not one hundred percent sure how much privacy they'll have, but they're sure going to try. After a series of awkward introductions, they'll just get down to business.]

Okay, so there are two different ideas on the table. One, giving us some privacy over comms, and two, to see if we might be able to find our way home. I think right now, we need to talk strategy.

[Honestly, if they can get back to Earth-1, Barry and Cisco could probably help them figure out a way to get everyone else home. It's just a matter of having the tools necessary.]

[Pidge has been quiet this whole time, lingering near Keith because he's the only one she knows in this little gathering. Mostly she's been listening to what everyone has to say, but she's also been trying to come up with some type of plan.

Eventually, though, she does speak up.]

We know Astoria has access to the watches, and we know that we need them to connect to the network. It would make the most sense to try and simultaneously block Astoria's network and create one of our own. There doesn't seem to be a lot of tech to work with around here, but there might be a workaround for that.

[It's probably a ridiculous idea, and she honestly has no idea how they did it, but...]

I met a group of people who were able to create plant-based technology. I'm not actually... sure how they did it, but maybe if there's more than one of us working on it, we can figure something out.

[A pause, and then:]

If it helps, I'm able to manipulate plant life.

[billionaires]

[ he grumbles when zari catches his watch, snatching it back and dealing her a half-hearted glare. steve's follow-up helps him even out some. but he still has to make his point, speaking into the watch face: ]

Hey, crazy witch who kidnapped us? Are we coming in loud and clear? Yeah? We're staging a coup! Thanks for attaching listening devices to all your captives!

[ he's annoyed enough that he throws it down on the ground. whatever - at least what pidge says makes some kind of sense. ]

...I like the way these kids think. Where'd you find them? [ pointing to keith and pidge. they're cute, tony thinks he'll keep them. ] An organic source of power is actually where I was going with that. Since there's not much... else on this whole planet, that I've seen.

[ Sara rolls her eyes at Tony's antics. Always with the drama, and she doesn't want anyone to ruin Zari's mission ]

[After the second time being referred to as a kid, Keith considers pointing out that he's twenty one, but decides it isn't worth the argument and he'd probably just prove the point by arguing anyway. So instead he looks over at Pidge.]

Do you think you can duplicate something like what the Olkari do?

[This is way above his technological pay grade, but it sounds like an interesting idea to pursue. He saw it work on Olakrion after all.]

[ tony really... doesn't get why he's being blown off. it's not even privilege this time he just honestly has limited time and this doesn't seem like a valuable use of it. he elbows steve gently and gives him a look like - wanna peace? then he clears his throat while fastening his watch back on. ]

So I think we're gonna... go. Good luck with this whole thingy.

[There's reasons why Zari is not put in charge of things because she's bad at juggling multiple personalities, but she's the one who dragged these people together so she's going to try and hold this together.]

Wait. Don't - just let's tackle one problem at a time.

[Because Tony's not wrong. The fact that Astoria could be listening is a problem. But they need to find a way to negotiate this in a way that doesn't lose them total access to the tech. She glances back to Billy.]

[Steve waves at John as he comes in. He guesses they need a magic expert on hand for this too and.... yeah this a bit of a mess. Steve frowns at Sara's reaction, already knowing that's not going to end well. Maybe back home this would be the part where he tells Tony to take the hit, but they're not home. Steve is doing things different this go around.

He simply looks from Zari as she attempts to smooth things over to Tony. It's his call if he wants to keep walking or stick this out.]

[Unlike Keith, she's not going to take offense to being referred to as a kid. Because she knows what she looks like, and she'd rather invest her time and energy into something more productive.

So she glances over at Keith with a shrug.]

I can try. I'm not really sure how they managed to get everything to work, but I feel like it might be our only option at this point.

[And then she turns to Tony, because he at least sounds like he knows what he's talking about.]

How much do you know about alternative sources of power? Because the majority of this place is forest and the temple, which is... at least a dozen levels below the kind of tech we're used to dealing with.

[Unless, of course, there's some big, secret tech-y playground hidden away somewhere on this world. But Pidge isn't holding her breath on that one.]
