So, this door has something living behind it. [That's what he guesses from what he's heard. Shiro lays a hand on it and studies it. The door looks thick and there's a lot of them here. He turns back to the group of them.
There's no way they can all hit it at once.]

I think that sounds like a good idea. [Ren is here and...unarmed and built like a tower of sticks and generally not looking very much like he's going to be any help at all just yet. But he's very enthusiastic about the plan so far, judging by the bright, airy tone of his voice.]
How long do you think would be good...? It'd be silly to wear people out so soon after we got here. [It's said kind of vaguely, as if the problem only just occurred to him, but at least it's a valid issue.]
[Ren would not be alone in that. Leaning against a nearby wall is a 13-year-old girl who couldn't be much bigger and is very likely the shortest of the group. However, she has a air of confidence that comes from someone who's probably been through some things and clearly thinks she can handle it.]
I hope no one was thinking we were just all going to go at the door at once, that'd be stupid. If it's shifts we can probably hit the door more strategically. Especially if we try to pair up in a way that's to our advantage. Like by ability or at least by level of strength or something.
[Barabas opines in response to Shiro's initial comment. The normally lean redhead has been replaced by a large werehyena, bipedal and a nightmare of fangs and claws and glowing red eyes. He's also leaning by the door, arms crossed, shoulder propped against the wall.]
But I agree. Shifts are probably our best shot. The sooner we can get this open, the better.
I can confirm Barabas's assessment, though something is... off. 'Tis best we discover what it might be, and soon.
[Especially if whatever is in there can be salvaged. Or used to ensure further survival beyond a week or so, depending on how they ration their supplies.]
And considering the one form I have that will be useful for this attempt, it would be impossible for more than one other to make the attempt with me.
Then here's how we should do it. Each team needs a heavy hitter. Morrigan and I both are too big in our hardest hitting shape for many other people nearby.

Teams should operate at set intervals, alternate your hits. Do not keep hitting the door for more than ten to fifteen minutes at a time. Rest for ten to fifteen. Each team should operate for...
[He does the math in the back of his head. It's a quick series of figures that makes his pause only a moment.]
At best an hour to two. We don't want to wear ourselves out and we need to gauge how much this door will give or not per team. We can meet together and adjust according to new developments.
We should focus on the weak points each team leaves. Try to hammer the side of the door closest to where we know they seal into the wall. Is this acceptable to all of you?
[Ren is definitely not surprised to be assigned as the extra to a team, and honestly, that means he can probably get away with putting in less effort anyway, so he's entirely okay with this plan. As such, the confirmation gets a bouncy little nod out of him.]
