[It says a lot that Ritsu is visibly biting his lip under his hood right now. Yeah, that's not as long as he would have expected from a thorough canvassing of a hideout. Either there's room for unpleasant surprises, or Killua isn't as competent as he seems to want to make out... well, nothing is stopping it from being both. Their apparent party leader is an airhead, their tank is acting vaguely anxious, and that bird hasn't come back yet. All good signs!

...He misses a few people from back home at times like this. Even the obnoxious ones.]

Let me handle the guards outside. If we're this outnumbered, we need to push the attack before they know what's happening.

[It's going to be difficult to hold them off with just a couple dinky spells and a prayer, but he's up for it. Maybe. Hopefully.]

I'll try to stop them from dispersing and instead, keep them rounded up together so the rest of you can try and jump in and attack with an advantage.

[He looks up at Ritsu and then the rest.]

I haven't quite figured out my new powers here but I have been trained to fight. So either way, my reflexes and strength should allow me to hold off at least a few of those guys.

Alright! I'll turn Killua and Ritsu invisible so they can get themselves into a attack positions. Izuku'll go in for the initial attack and I'll follow behind to back him up. Once we have the enemy lured out we'll smack 'em done with a joint attack!

[Ruby gives a confident smirk and moves over to Killua and Ritsu.]

Riff raff, shift shaft! Repeat that same spell!

[There were was no real rhyme or reason to her magic words, but she liked the sound of it as she worked her magic.

She cast invisibility in her level 3 slot so that she could turn her two companions invisible. Only this time there was a surge of magic around her which turned her skin blue.

It didn't seem like she had noticed either.]

[Now you see him, now you don't. There's a tiny rustling noise as Ritsu blinks and rubs his newly invisible eyes. He was expecting a feeling more like the heaviness that always accompanies his Astoria-granted power, and instead he doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Weird. Worrying.

He wasn't expecting Ruby to turn blue, either. Is that normal? Did she accidentally cast it on herself? On... her own red blood cells, somehow? He gawks for a moment longer with an expression he probably wouldn't be wearing if the others could see it, but presently decides that it isn't his problem. She's supposed to be a distraction, he figures.]

Got it. Be careful, you two.

[Killua doesn't strike him as needing or wanting the reminder right now, and Ritsu does not intend to be careful. If he did, he wouldn't be here.]

[Killua doesn't react when he's turned invisible, but he definitely balks (invisibly!) when Ruby turns blue. that didn't happen last time. he also has to wonder if it's normal, but decides it's ultimately probably nothing, even if it might call to her some undue attention.]

Yeah, [Killua agrees, and he takes quick inventory of his items. he should be more worried about it than he is, all told, but that doesn't mean that Killua is, for any circumstance, anything other than cautious.

Let's take out the guards closest to the cave before we infiltrate? That way there won't be an overwhelming number for them if they attempt to scatter.

[She's turning blue? What's up with that...

He definitely wants to ask but he knows now is not the time. Instead he just nods at the direction he thinks they're in.]

I'll try to keep them contained. [Something echoes in his head... contain...]

Hey! Once we're close, I'm going to trap them inside a magic circle. It means they won't be able to get out and we'll have to fight in close quarters. But it will prevent escape.

Got it, I'll try and lure the ones to the entrance closer to us.

[Ruby keeps close to Izuku as the group nears the cave. Once they get into position and the wolves are in view she'll step out and raise her staff, holding it like someone would a rifle.]

Alright... Here goes nothing!

[The rose gem on the end of her staff glows bright red as she mumbles the incantation for her spell. Suddenly a bolt of fire bursts out from her staff toward the first wolf. The attack lands and sears the wolfs fur, effectively pissing it off. It lets out a yelp before it and the others at the entrance make a dash toward Ruby.]
