What: The Circle gets together for some research on what this place is all about. Please treat this like a mingle log--feel free to put up a starter and tag around!

The Library (hopefully) promises to have the answers that the Welcome Committee and the general robot on the street don't. Characters can access the information by computer, and the Library has just about everything that's happened in Struxta.

That's thousands of years of information to wade through, so get to work!

[ from what what can tefé can tell from the screen, tefé can possibly catch daylight in the act of writing something up on his device. a... list of some sort? it must be a list since it's a collection of names with items next to said names.

'miss jing (a vase?)' and 'tyrion (clothes)' and 'keith (more clothes, boring)' and so on. weird but- but that doesn't matter right now.

what really matters is the slightly scandalised expression he sports on his face now. it must be something about the question. ] Being mecahnoid doesn't automatically mean I can do data related stuff. I mean- I wish it did mean that- It'll make after action reports so much easier to do - but no. I can't do that.

It's like... Um... You! Should I assume you're, like, a surgeon doctor body scientist? No. of course not. That's silly.

[She frowns. Look they are trying to figure out what is going on here! Or so she thought anyway!]

'mass subconscious. history of city. unusual events.' compared to the first list, this one is certainly more... to the point. ] It's just... Taking a while, you know? There's a lot to shift through so gotta pass the time somehow while the Library is pulling up every instance of the stuff.

Even though her own search has been more for what happen to organic life, one phrase catches her eye though...]

The Welcoming Committee didn't tell you about the Mass Subconscious yet? [ he looks at her, helm tilted to the side. his stare is not incredulous, really. more puzzled than anything else.

he supposes it makes sense that not everyone will ask about it when they're here in the city. doesn't sound exciting unless you're actively looking for the thing and with everything else available? definitely going to pale in comparison to things like the races and the merchant district and stuff. ] Um- It's basically what has everyone who is native in the city connected together. They share everything with each other.

And I mean everything: Their feelings. Their thoughts. I think even their memories, if I'm remembering my talk with them correctly.

So it's like... well, never mind. [Even if the Green existed here there's no point explaining it to him.] Did you try joining it? It has to be better than reading about it from a terminal, right?

that suggestion definitely gets his attention. enough that he puts his device away, optics big as saucers (er, bigger saucers) and his winglets are fluttering at the possibilty. ]

It does sound like a better way to get a feel of it, yeah, but... I didn't think that was possible. [ huh. you'd think that'll be the first thing he'll try to do. ] Do you think it's possible?

Why wouldn't it be? Bonus, you'd probably get them to help you faster with your shopping list by asking instead of trying to search on your own.
